Investment Strategy

Long-term growth is at the heart of His Excellency Sheikh Sultan Bin Jassim Al‐Thani’s investment strategy, focusing on ground-breaking brands across core industries.

Taking a patient, considered approach to his business ventures, many of his investments have helped to both launch and reinvigorate companies, with a particular focus on media and entertainment, sport, tourism and real estate industries.

Sheikh Sultan is the owner of Heritage Advisors Limited, which manages investments across the UK, Europe and the US, as well as Alioth, a separate entity responsible for the management of sports, media and entertainment acquisitions.

In the sports industry, Sheikh Sultan’s investment portfolio includes the Indy Eleven football franchise and the USFL Spring League, a challenger American football league.

While many of his investments are made with businesses in their nascent stages, Sheikh Sultan also invests in established and well-known brands.  His portfolio includes Fort Partners, who develop luxury properties for Four Seasons Hotel, as well as their branded luxury cruise business.

Sheikh Sultan studied at the University of Maryland before embarking on a career in the Qatari Government, where he rose to become Undersecretary of State, heading up the office of the Deputy Prime Minister. Since leaving government, he has focussed on investing in growth industries of the future in the USA and UK.
